Tip.2:How to Treat Dark Circles
Hello,again!

One of the most common feature that many people possess which decorates our under-eye area with rings of dark purple, making us appear more older than what wrinkles and grey hair can give off.Dark circles can be another annoying factor in a human's life.It has been one of mine for years now, that I wished I took advantadge of all the sleep that I was given as a child. However, now as we age,we do not have a choice of sleeping in longer when we have important jobs to do during our day and entire life.Only,it would make things much more simpler if we did not have to walk around as if we got punched in both eyes! Therefore,I will be sharing some common methods on how to force your dark circles to vanish and/or conceal them successfully.

1.Just like breakfast, sleep is the most IMPORTANT most ESSENTIAL part of a normal human's life.Neglecting this part that you really need in order to be in good shape to take on other projects in life, will not do you any good in the long run.Lack of sleep causes skin to become paler, thus resulting in the darkness and tiny veins that are shown through your under-eye area more noticeable.Determine how much hours you would need in order to have a goodnight's sleep. The average person usually needs 8 hours of sleep each night, try and sleep close to that.

2.Keep in mind to eat a healthy, balanced diet that is filled with vitamins and intake as much water as you can.Dark circles and puffiness are often attributed to lack of vitamin K or poor intake of antioxidants. Also, a deficiency in B12 can result in dark circles.
Note:Focus on your salt intake.Too much salt causes the body to retain water in unusual places, and this can end with puffiness under the eyes. This is why it is important to drink as much water or fluids as you can.

3.If you have a smoking habit, examine your under-area which must be very prominent and bluer. The reason why is, smoking causes vascular problems, which are your blood vessels.

4.Stress is the enemy which forces us to stay awake late at night or threatens us to not eating healthier foods that our body needs.Relaxing enough will help your eye skin to improve as you feel less stressed and more at ease.

5.Natural remedies that you can try can be the following:
-Thickly sliced cucumbers placed on your eyes for 15-20 minutes. It will help with de-puffing yours eyes and improve the 'tired look' that you seem to wear a lot on your face.

-Applying cold tea bags onto your eyes for a certain period of time will assist with reducing swelling and discoloration under the eye.

-Putting two spoon in the freezer for 15-20 minutes will cool them enough to be placed on your eyes.It is acceptable to do this many times during the day, just make sure that the spoons are cold enough to be placed on the eyes.

-Wrapping an ice cube or tiny ice packs in a soft cloth is the same idea as the 'frozen spoons being placed on your eyes.'Hold them onto your eyes until they melt or begin to feel warmer.

6.Some people are lucky and some are not. While some may not have that much prominent dark circles, others can be very insecure over the fact that they have had them for a longer period of time than others. Now is the time to asses the reason of WHY you have these dark circles and finding a solution to the problem. There could be many reasons, such as:

-Allergies

-Nasal congestion

-Pigmentation irregularities

-Sun exposure, because this can increase melanin production.

-Your skin thins as you age, making everything more apparent.

-Heredity.

7.Now if you are one of those people that fall into the unlucky category of being stuck with your dark circles for as long as you live, finding the perfect cover-up is not such a big deal.Brushing a bit of or A LOT of concealer under your eyes can help with the rings under your eyes that will not leave. However, before you begin slathering on the concealer, apply an eye cream containing vitamin K and retinol. Dark circles may be caused by a deficiency of vitamin K.Afterwards once you have placed everything under your eyes, you can dab a bit of highlighter or under-eye brightner to make your eyes look happier and cheerful instead of drab, sad, and tired.Make sure to add powder ontop of everything to set everything in place so that it does not smudge during your busy schedule.

Alright,have a lovely day everyone!

Tip.1:How to Deal with Acne
Disclaimer:While I'm not new to Polyvore,I have became inspired to begin my own tips and advice series on my account.I was inspired by others who created their own advice that is really helpful,so I guess I wanted to join in on the fun.Besides,I thought I should share my own insights on certain subjects and my own tips that I practiced for years.Although, since the school year has just begun for me,I may not be posting during the week.Instead,I'm more than happier to make tips over the weekend.I'm a very serious student,so by cramming school work with answering request(if by any chance this does become a success)and creating sets,it will be impossible. As far as requests go, I won't be branching out into other things any time soon.I feel best if I write about something that I'm comfortable with and that I know very well(Beauty Tips,Fashion Tips,Health Tips, and School Tips). Now, I'm not saying that I am in expert in any way.I just have the knowledge in these certain topics that I think wouldn't be bad to share. So I hope you can respect that and this is my first tips set, therefore, please go easy on me:)The designs will look better overtime but for now, let's just focus on the actual advice being given.

The teenage years are something we all look forward to.Some of us may be starting high school, others may be finally opening up to the person that they had an eye on for years, but for the majority of us,we are all just trying to enjoy the time that we have for now.Only, that becomes difficult when we have this certain weight on our shoulders that we cannot shake off.Or that nervous feeling we get whenever we step out of the house and think that people are staring and silently judging us with their flawless skin and accusatory glances like this whole thing was our fault.Well, that's what happens when you enter the teenage years. It can be a lot of laughter and fun with others, but it can also be painful and hurtful times like these.Times like these when we wish we never grew up and had to deal with these disgusting, mountain high blemishes that are the number #1sworn enemy of a teenager's world today:Acne.
Acne. You see it everywhere! Some magazines,TV,on other people's faces, but you wish it never scarred your own skin. However,we cannot escape the reality that these bumps will never leave our faces;unless we knew how to actually deal with them. Now,I'm not a dermatologist of some sort. But I have had my stuggles with acne and my victory with battling them.I do visit a dermatologist regularly, but before that happened I did everything I could to assist with my acne.Depending on the severity of yours,if you have a very bad case of Acne, seeing a doctor would be much more suitable.Of course, mine was very severe, however,I tried these methods and while they did not cure my blemishes, they helped with controlling it before my parents decided it was time for me to see a professional. If acne is something that really bothers you and makes you self-esteem level plunder towards the ground, have a talk with your parents and reason with them so that they know how you feel and see your point of view.Until that appointment or conversation with your parents is in motion, there are some methods that you can try to control your acne and maybe have a minimal decrease in their sizes and pimple.Keep in mind, everyone's skin is different. So,maybe if one method did not work for you does not mean that others won't.There are millions of out there to try!Remember,I never said this was going to be easy into curing your acne.Finding the right regimen for you takes time, patience, and effort that you put in.
1. 1,2,3 in ONE!
There are many skincare products on the line right now that aids with every type of skin disease(since acne is one). Before figuring out what products are best for you,you must know what type of skin you possess.Whether it is Dry,Normal,Sensitive,Combination,or Oily. Now some can actually have a couple of these types of problems with their skin. For instance,I have oily sensitive skin and someone else can have combination skin mixed with sensitivity.
Once you have figured that out,now you can go on your quest in search for the perfect skincare regimen. Not everyone needs every single product in the sets that they usually come in.So,experiment.Maybe you will like a certain face wash from one brand but choose another toner from a different brand.
Cleansing:Cleansing is the first essential step to any daily skin care routine. Cleansers are applied to wet skin all over the face.Water-based, gentle cleansers are ideal for all skin types, though acne-prone skin may need medicated ones containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid to discourage acne. It's always great to find something with a deep cleaning action so that it can clear out your pores which is where dirt and oil become clogged up and produce blemishes.
Toners:I never found much use for toners, but many people enjoy what this product has to offer.Toners are used after cleansing the skin and help to restore the skin's natural pH.Toners that contain water, alcohol, and herbal extracts or other chemicals to tend many skin types. It is advised that people with oily skin should use toners that hold pure alcohol, only do not get the idea to dump an entire bottle of rubbing alcohol onto your face.Others who have normal and dry skin should use alcohol-free toners.
Exfoliants:These products help slough off dry, dead skin to improve its appearance and leave a healthy glow on your skin. Exfoliants can improve the circulation through the face, clean out blocked pores while assisting with the appearance of healing scars, and smooth out any rough parts on the surface of your skin.It is best to exfoliate your skin in circular motion for 30 seconds.Keep in mind,to not purchase an exfoliant that is too abbrasive for your skin, especially if you own sensitive skin. For dry skins, you should exfoliate any rough patches of your skin only once per week;and oily-skinned people should do it twice per week.
Moisturizers:These come in either a lotion or a cream and are widely used by every skin types. All skintypes need moisturizing. Moisturizer helps preventing flaking and dryness, and even the creation of wrinkles. People with dry skin should choose moisturizers with ingredients to help the skin retain moisture. People with normal skin can choose from a huge variety of moisturizers. Non-oily moisturizers should be used on oily skin; medicated moisturizers holding tea tree extracts or fruit enzymes can help to control oil production or assist acne.
Masks:Masks are something that we all look forward to place on our faces as we lie back and relax after a long day of school or work.Masks are treatments that are placed on the face for a certain period of time before removing them and cleansing the entire face. There are 3 types of face masks that I have used from when I was in my dry-skinned days to my greasy-faced days.
-Clay-based masks use kaolin clay and are left on the skin until they are completely dry and solid. It lifts up any excess oil and dirt from the surface of the skin, and may aid in clearing blocked pores or draw comedones to the surface. These are highly recommended for oily-skinned people.
-Peel masks are typically gel-like in consistency and are left on until you peel it off. They contain certain acids and exfoliating properties that help wrinkles vanish and even out the skin tone.Dry-skinned people should not use this as it is very drying.
-Sheet masks are a relatively new product that are becoming very popular in North America.I have experienced these many times before when I was in the dry-skinned category and it helped my skin with retaining its moisture and staying hydrated through out the day.It is basically a mask that is made out of cotton which is soaked up in a certain serum or treatments. It has holes cut out for the eyes and lips and cut to fit the contours of the face.I actually still use these whenver I am due to go on a flight because the atmosphere when flying in a plane can be very drying,so I place it on my face,my hoodie is up and my head is down so that no one can see.(It does look a bit frightning when put on,just saying.)
Sunscreen:Sun protection is an important aspect of skincare. It is important to make use of sunscreen in order to protect our skin from the Sun's harsh UVB/UVA.Not only does walking bare-faced while exposed to the Sun can cause sunburns and skin cancer, but can cause patches of uneven skin tone and encourage the skin in becoming drier which will decrease the elasticity and make wrinkles more noticeable.Make sure to apply sunscreen every 4 hours(Unless you live somewhere very humid and sunny, then every 2 hours). Some may not believe this, but up-holding protection during the cold Winter months can make you benifit from many things,as well.Summer is not the only time where skin could become damaged,so slather on your sunscreen all-year around.
2.CHUG!CHUG!CHUG!
You have probably heard your Mom tell you this everyday before you leave to go somewhere.
"Hey!Make sure you drink lots of water while you are out!"
Well, she's right.Water is a chemical substance that we all know and drink today. At least, some of us.Water is known to flush out the toxins in our body of waste products. However, did you know our skin benefits from it?It is true that drinking 8 glasses a day will improve our skins glowy complexion as well as keep it hydrated throughout the day that sometimes our skin products cannot give.Try to own up to the challenge and drink 8 glasses or bottles a day.
3.Chocolate...Good,I have your attention.
There has been so many misconceptions and True or False games over whether or not foods high in sugar and sodium cause acne.I'm still not sure myself;but either way,no one should be eating more chocolate than actual food. It's not a problem to intake a few sweet treats every now and then and to eat out at Fast Food restaurants, although, doing so regularly or on a daily basis will not help your insides or outsides. So,enjoy everything in moderation, that's the best that I could do for this topic.
4.Cover-up
I think make-up and acne play a huge roll together because they never seem to get along when we want them to.We discover a huge zit in the middle of our forehead and think that a swipe of make-up will do to conceal it.Instead,we go a bit overboard and end up using the whole pot...and you can still see it!
Make-up does not treat acne,it just assists in hiding them when we don't want them to be seen. However,by piling product after product will not do much good for your skin.In fact,it will do the opposite of what you would want it to do.My suggestion is to find the perfect shade of concealer or foundation for your skin, and dot it on your face lightly.Do not pack on too much make-up right away;start small and gradually build up on the coverage that you want. When applying make-up,make sure that your brushes are sqeauky clean and not filled with residue from other make-up because it will be filled with bateria.Keep in mind to wash your brushes once a week with a good soap and leave them to dry on a towel for a few hours.Unless your the type that works with your fingers, they should be washed and disinfected before touching any area of your face.Lastly, please, please, please wash your face of make-up before going to bed!
5.RELAX
Calm down.
You are way too young to be too stressed out over things that may not even matter in a few years to come.It may seem like a big deal now,but wait as you grow older and even forget this rough patch in your life.Just like one day you will be free of your acne that you will probably forget how it felt to even have it.So,that being said, once a week find a time of where you can let go of everything that is happening around you and just focus on your self.Draw yourself a bath.Read a good book.Cook.Bake.Make a nice cup of tea.Go for a walk.Write.Paint.Anything to keep your sanity and your mind at peace.Only becoming more anxious and strain your stress will only make things worse and make you wonder why you have suddenly broken out a couple of times. That is why it is important to keep a level-head during the tough times. This was a struggle for me because I always found myself edgy over something so small. My dermatologist even advised me to take up something that I enjoy or relaxes me when I'm in a pinch.Find something that you like and stick with it.
6.Sometimes it works...sometimes it doesn't
Often times,we become excited over our new skincare purchase, thinking that it will work and all of our skin problems will dissappear in a blink of an eye. That is not always the case.Sometimes,it may not even work with your skin and could make it even worse. That is what everyone goes through when looking for the perfect acne regimen.Through trial and error until you find what is best for you.Growing up,nothing worked for me.If anything, all the products made my skin appear more inflammed than usual. That is when my parents and I decided it was time to visit an expert.I used my dermatologist skincare line and was shocked that it was not fighting agaisnt my skin, but with it.I had to undergo peels, which I promise did not hurt.It is basically a process where they peel off the top layers of your skin to find the roots of your blemishes. It isn't severe peeling,it was only left on my skin for a few seconds before being taken off.I was given minor antibiotics to use which have helped with healing scars and pimples from ever appearing.Afterwards, once I was seeing my doctor for a few months,he decided it was best for me to try a new antiobiotic that changed my life.It was his very own that I don't think is sold in other countries, although there are many antiobiotics out there that are just as powerful and will help you through this bumpy part in your life through adult hood.
7.Find the roots
Acne can be cause by many factors in our life. One of them being hormones. However, there can be other side problems to our acne that we do not even notice that we do to contribute to the problem.Touching our face is one problem that we shouldn't do unless we have clean hands that are disinfected.Things that we come in contact with our hands becomes tranferred onto our face once we touch it.It is like a welcoming sign for bacteria to enter our skin.Another is when your talking on the phone and you are holding the receiver against your cheek. You may not know who may have used it before so try to hold the phone away from your face.Wearing hats is another because sweat builds up on our forehead and can cause forehead breakouts that are not pretty. So try and diagnose the problem of other reasons why you may have blemishes. You will be surprised in what you may discover.

Alright,I believe that is all there is to the basics of acne.I hope you enjoyed this tip and have a lovely day:)
